What is Equine 74® Core Connect?

Discover the new approach to mobility and suppleness in horses.

Instead of fighting symptoms, recalibrate the regulator: Equine 74® Core Connect supports your horse's endocannabinoid system – for more elasticity, freedom of movement, and inner balance.

Origin & Composition

Organically grown, fermented for 4 years – 100% natural

Equine 74® Core Connect is a feed supplement for horses and ponies. At its core is a fermented organic hemp seed, optimized for nutrient availability through a four-year fermentation process. It is complemented by Calcareous Marine Algae Lithothamnion Glaciale (Maerl).

The fermentation process preserves the full nutrient matrix of the hemp seed – in a form that is particularly bioavailable for horses. No pressing, no extraction: the whole seed.

Just two ingredients. Nothing more. Fermented organic hemp seed powder + Calcareous Marine Algae Lithothamnion Glaciale (Maerl). That's a deliberate choice.

Application

20 grams daily – simply mix into feed

Equine 74® Core Connect is given as a powder mixed into the hard feed daily. Ideally split across 2 feedings per day. The dosage is intentionally low – not because less is more, but because it works as a targeted feed supplement, not a primary feed.

 20 g daily for horses | 10 g daily for ponies

We recommend  Equine 74®Core Connect  exclusively during non-competition periods. Competition horses are subject to absolute zero tolerance for certain substances derived from the hemp plant – even trace amounts may be relevant in drug testing. Horse owners, riders, and trainers are solely responsible for verifying compliance with all applicable national and international regulations.

How Equine 74® Core Connect Works

It starts where mobility actually begins: in regulation

Stiffness, lack of suppleness, and prolonged warm-up phases are often not purely a structural issue. When the body can no longer find its own balance, the endocannabinoid system (ECS) frequently shows the first signs of imbalance.

The Endocannabinoid-System (ECS)

The ECS is the body's own balancing and regulatory system. It connects the nervous system, immune system, and musculoskeletal system – supporting the natural regulation of stimulus processing, muscle tone, stress response, and recovery.

What happens when the ECS is out of balance?

Through physical stress, aging, or nutritional deficiencies, the body's own endocannabinoids (the signaling molecules of the ECS) may be produced in lower quantities or broken down more rapidly. The result: reduced elasticity, elevated muscle tone, prolonged recovery.

This shows not only physically – an ECS out of balance can also affect the nervous system: horses may appear more spooky, internally tense, or oversensitive to everyday stimuli.

How Equine 74® Core Connect supports the ECS

Since endocannabinoids are built from fatty acids, fatty acid supply directly influences the body's own ECS production capacity.

Equine 74® Core Connect delivers Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids through fermented organic hemp seeds – as building blocks the body uses for its own endocannabinoid synthesis.

A different approach

Products like glucosamine or devil's claw target physical structure – cartilage, joints, inflammation. Equine 74® Core Connect works one level earlier: not at the substance, but at the regulation. Not repair, but supporting the body's own fine-tuning.

Scientific background

The ECS in horses: an active field of research

The endocannabinoid system is a well-documented regulatory system in horses – as in all mammals.

Current studies show that ECS receptors have been identified in the horse's gut, joints, and nerve pathways.

Particularly relevant for the musculoskeletal system: more of these receptors were found in inflamed joint tissue than in healthy tissue – suggesting that the ECS becomes more active under increased tissue stress (Zamith Cunha et al., 2023).

Research into the equine ECS is advancing rapidly – and is providing growing evidence of how central this system is to mobility, stimulus processing, and inner balance.

Horse owners on Equine 74® Core Connect

First experiences from our survey program with 150 participants across all disciplines – from young horses to retirees.

Chulio is just more relaxed overall – mentally too. His muscle tone is looser and he lets go much more quickly.

Nathalie
I'm giving this product for high muscle tone, stiffness, and head tossing. The head tossing has decreased significantly.
Britta
Since feeding [Equine 74 Core Connect], my mare moves more freely. The age-related stiffness has noticeably improved.
Irene
The rideability issues have improved a lot. She seems calmer overall, and the contact is becoming more consistent.
Mechthild
My horse seems noticeably more relaxed but still moves with real energy and joy. He responds much more softly to the aids.
Anaid
This is the answer – my gelding kept having issues with tension due to high muscle tone, for no apparent reason. Skeletal causes have been ruled out.
Monika
