Equine 74® Core Connect

Composition & FAQ

What's inside?

What are the ingredients in Equine 74® Core Connect ?

Equine 74® Core Connect contains exactly two raw materials.

Fermented Organic Hemp Seeds For Equine 74® Core Connect, selected organically grown hemp seeds undergo a four-year fermentation process. We don't press the seeds into oil – we ferment the whole seed to preserve the full nutrient matrix and specifically improve the bioavailability of the natural plant compounds. The process includes variety selection, harvesting, sieving, and rigorous doping controls.

Calcareous Marine Algae Lithothamnion Glaciale (Maerl) The same red algae used in Equine 74 Gastric: harvested off the coast of Iceland, rich in natural calcium and magnesium.

Analytical constituents:

Dosage and Application

Are there recommendations for dosage and application?

Feeding recommendation: mix into hard feed 1–2 x daily:

  • Ponies = 10 g
  • Horses = 20 g

1 scoop = 20 g

Application:

Feed supplement for horses and ponies. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Not suitable for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children.

Can I feed Equine 74® Core Connect to my horse long-term without concerns – how safe is it?

Equine 74® Core Connect can be fed to horses on an ongoing basis without concerns. It is designed for daily feeding – not as a short-term course, but as continuous support for the body's own regulatory processes.

Ist Equine 74® Core Connect a medication?

Equine 74® Core Connect is not a medication. It is a feed supplement that supports the body's own regulatory processes through the endocannabinoid system – not a therapy, and not a substitute for veterinary treatment.

If you suspect your horse is in pain or unwell, consult your veterinarian.

Is there a withdrawal period for competitions?

Equine 74® Core Connect is not intended for horses competing in events where anti-doping rules apply (e.g. FN/ADMR, FEI, USEF/USDF, or comparable governing bodies).

Competition horses are subject to absolute zero tolerance for certain substances derived from the hemp plant – even trace amounts may be relevant in drug testing. A safe withdrawal period that guarantees a negative doping result cannot be scientifically established based on current available data.

Note on salicylic acid: Additionally, Equine 74® Core Connect contains traces of naturally occurring salicylic acid from plant-based raw materials. Based on current scientific literature and FEI/IFHA thresholds (6.5 µg/mL plasma, 750 µg/mL urine), the risk of a positive test result at the recommended feeding rate is very low.

Those responsible for sport horses should always consult the current regulations of the relevant governing body before use. Compliance with all applicable rules and regulations is the sole responsibility of the rider or trainer.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is in Equine 74® Core Connect?

Equine 74® Core Connect contains only the declared raw materials: fermented organic hemp seed powder from the four-year fermentation process and Calcareous Marine Algae Lithothamnion Glaciale (Maerl) – the same red algae used in Equine 74 Gastric. No additional ingredients.

Why are the hemp seeds fermented instead of pressed into oil?

Because we're not interested in the oil – we're interested in the whole seed as a raw material. The fermentation process preserves the full nutrient matrix – and specifically improves the bioavailability of the natural plant compounds in the hemp seed. With conventional pressing, a large part of that is lost.

Can I combine Equine 74® Core Connect and Equine 74 Gastric?

Yes. Both products serve different purposes and complement each other. Equine 74 Gastric buffers excess stomach acid; Equine 74® Core Connect supports the endocannabinoid system. There is no reason against feeding both simultaneously.

When can results be expected?

Feed supplements that work through the body's own regulatory processes take time. We recommend regular feeding over several weeks before making an assessment.
